Itineraries
Day 1
Hanoi - Sa Pa
Our driver and guide will pick you up in Hanoi at your hotel. Start your road trip to Sa Pa via the highway. Stop for lunch at noon. Continue your trip to the glass bridge located in Lai Chau province with an altitude of more than 2000m above sea level, you will experience breathtaking scenery here with clouds and mountains. Road trip back to Sa Pa, check in the hotel in Sa Pa.
Day 2
Sa Pa - Fansipan - Bac Ha.
Check out your hotel after breakfast. Start your trip to the top roof of indochina called Fansipan mountain. You will spend about 15 minutes with the cable car to reach the 3000m point. Then walk uphill via steps to the 3143m top roof. Walk downhill to the cable car station to go down. Have lunch in the local restaurant.
Continue your road trip to Bac Ha. Stop at Chinese’s border in Lao Cai city. You will reach Bac Ha after 1:30 hours from there. Check in at the hotel in Bac Ha.
Day 3
Bac Ha Sunday market
After your breakfast, start walking to visit a very colorful market that opens every Sunday morning. Drive around Bac Ha to some local villages to see the views of mountains and meet the local people there. Come back to Bac Ha then stay another night there.
Day 4
Bac Ha - Ban Luoc - Ho Thau
Have your breakfast at the hotel. Check out then continue your trip to Xin Man and Hoang Su Phi areas with views of rice fields and mountains. Have lunch in Vinh Quang, center of Hoang Su Phi. Continue to Ban Luoc to see the most beautiful landscape of rice terraces. You will reach Ho Thau later in the afternoon. Stay overnight at the eco village there.
Day 5
Ho Thau - Nam Son - Nam Khoa - Nam Hong
The small concrete road will lead you to the paradise of terraced fields. Like a wonder of nature but created by farmers with their own hands.
You will reach another village of Red Dao people then stay there for the night.
Day 6
Nam Hong - Thong Nguyen - Ha Giang - Quan Ba
Saying goodbye to the terraced rice fields, we continue our journey to the limestone mountains on the Dong Van geological plateau. Stop in Ha Giang city for lunch. Walk around the village of Tay people in Tha village.
Continue the trip to Quan Ba heaven’s gate, a famous stop in the Ha Giang loop. With Tam Son valley and twin fairy mountains and stopping at the Black Dao village in Nam Dam.
Day 7
Quan Ba - Yen Minh - Dong Van
Have a set breakfast at the homestay in Nam Dam. Check out and continue your trip to Yen Minh. Stop at Tham Ma Pass, Vuong’s palace. Have lunch at the local restaurant.
You will ride on the road adjacent to the Vietnam-China border to the Lung Cu flagpole. Walk up to the flag via steps. End the day in Dong Van town.
Day 8
Dong Van - Ma Pi Leng - Bao Lac
Today you will experience the most beautiful road in the Ha Giang loop journey called Ma Pi Leng. This is one of the four most dangerous steep passes in Vietnam. The road winds along the limestone cliffs and the river flows through the Tu San canyon.
Stop and have lunch in Meo Vac. Continue the trip to Bao Lac. Stay overnight at the local guesthouse.
Day 9
Bao Lac - Khau Coc Cha - Ban Gioc
Continue your journey to the pass with more than 15 continuous turns located on Highway 4A called Khau Coc Cha pass and Na Tenh pass. Stop and have lunch at the local restaurant in Ha Quang. Continue your road trip to Dam Thuy village then stay the night in Khuoi Ky village.
Day 10
Ban Gioc waterfall - Nguom Ngao cave
Visit Ban Gioc waterfall. Ban Gioc Waterfalls stands as a true natural wonder of Vietnam. Come bạck to Khuoi Ky to have lunch.
Visit the Nguom Ngao cave in the afternoon. Come back to the homestay to stay another night.
Day 11
Ban Gioc - Dong Khe - Lang Son
After leaving Ban Gioc waterfall, we will visit the Dong Khe victory relic site. This was our largest, large-scale attack on the enemy in a fortified fortification until 1950 by the French Colonialists. Continue your journey to Lang Son city, visit Tam Thanh Pagoda in a mountain cave, Mac Dynasty citadel ruins. Stay overnight at the hotel in Lang Son.
Day 12
Lang Son - Hanoi
After breakfast, you will take about 4 hours to go back to Hanoi. End trip.
